    Recomendable

    What a lovely experience!

Wifi was definitely not 10/10 as indicated in the reviews. Other than that, everything was superb.
We loved our stay and our experience. We stayed for two nights which made our stay definitely more enjoyable than if we have only stayed for one night – the place is so tranquil that you definitely don't want to rush through your stay and enjoy the last grain of sand on the dunes around the camp. The tent was spacious and well equipped and decorated. The bathroom was surprisingly good even though we would expect a lower standard at such spot. We loved that the tent did not smell of anything (unlike EVERY other accommodation we've been to in Morocco, all of which went a little hard on that sandalwood scent). The whole camp is incredibly clean and the common area is also very pretty. We liked that each tent has an outdoor seating. The staff was attentive, relaxed and looked like they're enjoying what they're doing. The dinner was great and huge, we loved the open air setting even though it was a little cloudy both nights. After dinner, Hassan and his team played some traditional music and made the hosts be a part of that (which we enjoyed because it seemed quite genuine). The breakfast was good too. The camel ride to the camp is not to be missed. Our guide, Ibrahim, turned out to be almost a professional photographer and he was a lot of fun for the whole 90mins trip. We also loved the 4h trip with Hassan around the desert – we explored all kinds of desert, visited a number of interesting natural and cultural spots (e.g. nomad family, ghost mine and city, palmeries, spot to search for fossils and more) and Hassan was a great source of information. Later, he took us to a pool and was sure to pick us up just in time to make the sunset camel ride home. Even though the tour was quite pricy (EUR 120 for the two of us), we would definitely regret if we didn't go.

    Great experience

We arrived at 13:00 and we had to wait until 18:00 into a bar/restaurant before reaching the tents in the desert (by the way it was our choose, no air con in the desert and spend 4 hours with 45 Celsius it wasn't optimal). To entertain yourself you may choose different option (quad, camel, buggy) but all of them are extremely expensive (compared to the place you are).
Room are big and the location is magical

    Great experience

While the camel tour was great, they could have told us previously, that it costs 25 eur, which is a fair priece.
The camel tour to the camp was fantastic and longer than expected. Overall very professional set-up, even wifi in the desert! Hasan and the hosts were very friendly and we were lucky to enjoy a beautiful night Sky.

A nice way to see the dunes

Perhaps as part of the Camel Trekking experience more interaction with the camels could be offered? For example, I would have loved to have been given the chance to feed them or give them water. Even spending some additional time with them while at the camp would have been very interesting for me, and I know others there would have enjoyed this, too. I think there is definitely an opportunity here for eco, animal welfare tourism that could find a market in Merzouga. Caring for, and spending time with animals seems like a natural money maker for a town like Merzouga. It has so much tourism potential, and camels are such amazing creatures.
It's a beautiful location. The service is excellent, and everyone working there are very helpful and friendly. The manager is very helpful, and will go out of his way to make sure you're comfortable. I would recommend the driving tour or atv tour.

We had a really love time with Hassan and his team! The camp itself is spectacular and the facilities (including showers!) are great given that it is in the middle of the Sahara. The Camp was also very accommodating in pick up and drop off very early because of bus timetables

We had to wait 1,5 hour at the pick up point before our host came to pick us up. Furthermore we thought is was a bit surprising that the water we drank during dinner was not included in the price (€2 per bottle) and had to be paid separately.
We spent two amazing nights at the camp. Before our arrival we were instructed via text to be at the meeting point in Merzouga at 17:00. We arrived a bit earlier but had the chance to have some drinks and something to eat there. Later we were informed that we would go to the camp later than 17:00, namely at 18:30. At 18:30 Hassan from the camp came to collect out luggage while we would take a camel ride to the camp. We would definitely recommend going to the camp by camel! Mohammed, our guide, made sure we had a wonderful ride in the desert. He told us about the Erg Chebbi, showed us where we could see the border with Algeria, and even caught a lizard (called a sand fish) on our way. When we arrived at the camp, about 2 hours later, we were welcomed by the hosts with some traditional Maroccon tea and a small bite to eat. Afterwards we had some time to freshen up and enjoy the surroundings before dinner started at 21:30. We were served a tasty four course meal. The meal is included in the price; however, we had to pay separately for our drinks (water and soda, €2/20 Dirham apiece). After dinner we enjoyed some traditional music at the campfire and watched the stars. The next day we booked a desert tour at the camp that took us to a Nomad family, a traditional African village, an oasis, the black desert, an abandones baryte mine and the ghost town that lies next to it. Furthermore Hassan took us fossile hunting, we found some amazing fossils that we got to keep! Afterwards we spent the rest of the day at another resort with a pool, where we also enjoyed a delicious lunch (visiting the pool and the lunch are not included in the €120 price of the tour). At 19:00 Hassan picked us up and took us on an amazingly wild car ride through the desert and to the camp. From the dunes near the camp we got to enjoy the sun setting behind the sanddunes once more. On our second night at the camp we again had a very good meal.
